I expect there are a few things aligning here that make us an attractive proposition at the moment.
Obviously our league position means we're worth less than we've been since Tan took over.
Tan is also more unpopular now than ever (I'd argue that although lots were angrier about the rebrand, we're more united in our view of his failings now).
Picthing in now, before Tan starts seeing the coming season's million quid a month shortfall starts to leave his bank account could be quite tempting to him.
Adding Bale into the mix clearly piles pressure on a sale though I doubt he's putting much dough in. It also does rather call Tan's bluff on finding a rich welshman to buy him out.
Hopefully if it is a bunch of yanks, they're not crap ones like the ones who ruined the Jacks. We don't really have any assets to strip, so I suppose we're safer from that than they were. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Dalman involved as there's no way he's writing off his 30 million quid.
