With Scott Parker leaving Burnley and them supposedly sniffing around BBM amongst others, if he did go (I can’t see it personally) would you take Parker? He’s not everyone’s cup of tea but you can’t argue with his record in the second tier, three Championship promotions with three different teams.

First of all, assume the BBM thing is the usual lazy / mischief making journalist but success will bring attention.

Parker fun to hate as a manager but 3 different Championship promotions proves he is clearly capable. I'd accept him here no bother but seems unlikely as Parker likely to have better choices and wouldn't be likely to get the level of backing / autonomy he'd want from Tan.

Yeah I know it’s almost certainly made up nonsense but as you say he’s bound to be under consideration for any decent job that comes up, especially with his growing reputation for working with young players. Skubaka will be another one linked with every job. Leicester City will be a tempting job if they sack Rowett.

Parker will go to one of the other relegated clubs from the Prem or a club thats well resourced.

He's a flat track bully like Pep.

Definitely.
We now have a plan brought here by BBM and we need to make sure he stays here for the short term at least.Tan has to secure his signature as the number one priority and money talks.
We could easily fall back into our old ways otherwise.
Losing BBM will have a terrible effect on moral with players and fans.
As for Bellamy no thanks.
As hard as he tries he still has trouble written all over him to me.

Get ready for BBM to get linked with loads of jobs, we're not used to it with the managers we usually appoint.

I'd be shocked if he went anywhere else in Championship and I'm not sure his stock is high enough for the PL at the minute.

Let's hope he continues to get interest as it means we continue to go well. I don't think he'd easily jump ship.

That's my read on it and also that he's the type of manager who is better suited to a longer term project. Could be wishful thinking though.

Of course, there's always a risk of him being made an offer he can't refuse but don't see him walking away too easily.

By coincidence I saw him in town yesterday. Looked happy and relaxed

If I were BBM why wish to leave?
Young exciting team,
Fairly low expectations with an opportunity to improve his rep even further.
Close to ireland
Great city and quality of life
I just hope they sort him out financially.

Id be surprised if skubaka doesn't get an offer this summer tho

Step backwards...smaller club
let Tan know what I said

Skubaka?

It’ll be interesting to see if Skubala is able to continue his success either with Lincoln, a small club at a higher level or with a bigger club with higher expectations.

He's clearly a very good manager. Think Lincoln will probably be ok next season but if he goes you'd imagine they'd fall back to L1 quite quickly.
I don't know much about him but watching them play us twice they seemed a well coached and well rounded team

I really want to beat them twice next season

He's a big Leicester fan apparently. You'd presume he wouldn't fancy it at the minute mind.

He might be tempted though. Even if he's brilliant Lincoln are likely going to have a mid table ceiling in the Championship. If he went to Leicester now he'd probably have more carte blanche to reshape them than if things were going well. If he's a big fan he may figure the chance may not come again

Into 4-1 second favourite just now, didn't notice him in the betting earlier this morning

Of BBM were to go I don't think it would be a money related reason. Not saying he wouldn't get paid more elsewhere but I don't think that would be his driving reason.

You'd like to think it's not the primary motivator but if offered a substantial pay rise elsewhere you couldn't knock him for looking out for his family.

No idea what kind of wage he is on for the City. Always seems a mystery with managers
