You'd like to think it's not the primary motivator but if offered a substantial pay rise elsewhere you couldn't knock him for looking out for his family.
No idea what kind of wage he is on for the City. Always seems a mystery with managers

Agreed but there's always a tipping pointEven then I think the job would have to offer more than just a pay rise tbh. He strikes me as a bloke who knows where he want's to be and the opportunities for getting there would be his main objectives. I think as Championship clubs go we would be fairly competitive with most, especially as VT is aware that BBM has Cardiff doing things exactly the way I believe VT always wanted it. A highly paid job at the wrong club could set BBM's career back quite a bit and I'm sure he's well aware of that.
Agreed but there's always a tipping point
I accept that but money rules imo unfortunately.Of BBM were to go I don't think it would be a money related reason. Not saying he wouldn't get paid more elsewhere but I don't think that would be his driving reason.

No you couldn't. The other two relegated sides are praying to sneak into the play offs on the last day. It's not just that he got us promoted comfortably at over or very near an average of two points a game but that he did it playing good football by blooding youngsters and the players he signed have all been pretty good.Fucking hell lads.
He got a relegated championship squad promoted at the 1st attempt
Even i could do that.
Clubs should be sniffing around the Lincoln manager ffs. They embarrassed us
Actually I just checked and he couldNo you couldn't. The other two relegated sides are praying to sneak into the play offs on the last day. They absolutely will be. What Lincoln have achieved massively out shadows us to be fair.
What Lincoln did didn't have pundits talking about the style of football and the use of young players. No you couldn't. Lincoln will be shopping in a different store to us. They have a small budget and can't pay much. They did get Ryan Oné and Alfie Lloyd on loan this season from Championship clubs, so I would expect them to go that route again. What Lincoln did didn't have pundits talking about the style of football and the use of young players.
Unless form can be maintained in the Championship opinions will soon change.
We stand more chance of progressing than Lincoln.
I think players will be attracted to us before them.

Don't really listen to what anyone says about other clubs but they're a small team, with small crowds and a small budget but smashed through the 100 points barrier which is not common especially not by teams without loads of money. They did so by playing good football but also having a plan B. A pretty remarkable achievement and they'll view safety as acceptable which should take the pressure off them. I think they'll probably be ok as long as they can keep a hold of their manager but when he goes they'll probably be back in L1 quite quickly. What Lincoln did didn't have pundits talking about the style of football and the use of young players.

We'll be more attractive to better players but that's became we'll pay more and have a higher profile.
The form bit equally applies to us. BBM is rightly the man of the hour now but it only takes a few bad games to change that.
Going to cost more.Lincoln will be shopping in a different store to us. They have a small budget and can't pay much. They did get Ryan Oné and Alfie Lloyd on loan this season from Championship clubs, so I would expect them to go that route again.

I'm sure any sane Lincoln fan would agree but what a season they've had!I agree.
In my mind Cardiff are a bigger club with more history.
