BBM to Burnley?

What Lincoln did didn't have pundits talking about the style of football and the use of young players.
Unless form can be maintained in the Championship opinions will soon change.
We stand more chance of progressing than Lincoln.
I think players will be attracted to us before them.

I remember us thinking we had the edge on Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford etc, etc, etc

They got more chance of getting Bellamy tbh.

Plus Bellamy can jog on. Enjoyed his stay but thats just football.he definitely overthinks things. Loads of qualities but reminds me of Chris Eubank Sr when he just talked himself out of winning fights by out thinking shit and explaining himself too much.

I really like Bellamy but I completely agree with you on this, he’s says far too much in interviews, we really don’t need to know the ins and outs of a cats arse. It’s like he’s always trying to justify his position. He’s the exact opposite of BBM in that respect.

It was refreshing initially but after a while it's like why are you volunteering that information to the opposition? Less is more

Personally think it’s all paper talk, but there will be plenty of links, he’s done a brilliant job.

He’s started a ‘project’ here, it’s his team, his tactics and his youngsters who he has put his faith (correctly) in.

He’s been left to his own devices, and there’s no real proof that he wasn’t backed in the transfer windows, unless you take what Jabba the ex hoolie says as gospel.

I reckon so too. Paper talk based on a mischievous agent or bookie. Even if he's on a list somewhere that's a lon way from meaning he's a realistic candidate. Since media went clickbaity this stuff has got out of hand

There will be plenty more of it I’m sure.

Anything to get clicks to their websites really, no matter where the story came from, probably chucked a load of names of managers and clubs in a hat and thought that will do.

It’ll probably be the case with the likes of Bagan, Lawler etc too

Remember last off season when this forum made up rumours and some of them were gaining traction?

With Scott Parker leaving Burnley and them supposedly sniffing around BBM amongst others, if he did go (I can’t see it personally) would you take Parker? He’s not everyone’s cup of tea but you can’t argue with his record in the second tier, three Championship promotions with three different teams.
I can't think of many people in football that I instinctively dislike more than Scott Parker.

Absolutely not. Wouldn't want him here at all.

Don't really listen to what anyone says about other clubs but they're a small team, with small crowds and a small budget but smashed through the 100 points barrier which is not common especially not by teams without loads of money. They did so by playing good football but also having a plan B. A pretty remarkable achievement and they'll view safety as acceptable which should take the pressure off them. I think they'll probably be ok as long as they can keep a hold of their manager but when he goes they'll probably be back in L1 quite quickly.

We'll be more attractive to better players but that's became we'll pay more and have a higher profile.

The form bit equally applies to us. BBM is rightly the man of the hour now but it only takes a few bad games to change that.
Aren't Lincoln owned by billionaires?

I really liked him as a player but always thought he was a dick as manager. Resourced or not he knows how to win the Championship but he won't be coming here anytime soon

Are they? Haven't heard a out then making any big signings and the Championship clubs had much bigger wage bills and players who'd been signed for big sums.

I wish Lincoln well - nice city and their fans seemed tidy enough. Despite proving our big rivals this season they never pissed me off except for winning relentlessly
