As it's been said Scunthorpe 93 was magical and for the worse has to be Barnet at Underhill 0-0 I think it was Barnets first point of the season after nine straight defeats, game was horrific hangover was worse

I’m pretty sure I was at that Barnet game. The first time I’d ever seem the famous Underhill slope. Wasn’t the goal line at one end level with the crossbar at the other?

Yeah I think so, my one and only visit there. If I remember rightly I walked passed the Stadium!

The only thing I remember about the game was the ball ending up in our end after a wayward shot, our fans typically keeping hold of it, and then throwing it back as the goalie went to take a goal kick and it hitting him straight in the back of his head.

Was that a Sunday game?

Sure their goalie was on the Larger side

Not done loads of aways in honesty but me worst was a 5-1 drubbing at the Racecourse in 1986. Sat in the home end and just remember keeper taking the piss heading the ball outside box. Laughed my arse off when Nigel Vaughan scored though. Then had to go back through Wrexham fans to the car - needless to say got a lot of stick.

You lost me at that bit.
So even after that admission you start a thread on best away game?

You dont deserve my reply tbh
There's no minimum entry requirements

Nobody deserves your replies

I travelled up from Portsmouth for this having docked the day before. I had no idea it was all ticket. Couldn't get in.

best - scunthorpe away 93

worst - bristol rovers in bath citys ground and it belted down with rain, 94 maybe?

This is a tough one. First away with city was 1978/79 season. I have probably forgotten more away games than i can remember. This season Wrexham was good. Leicester in the Prem when Victor camarassa smashed that one in right at the end, stands out. Losing at Fulham that same season was a notable downer. In the past Hull away 2-0 win in promotion season was awesome atmosphere in the ground from city fans. Leeds 7-0 drubbing was hard last season, but the trip home on the bus was great, everybody partying. That's all for now.
