Apparently this is on DAZN but I doubt I'll still be up when the main event happens, estimated to be at about 4am.

Everything you need to know about the Canelo Alvarez-Billy Joe Saunders super middleweight unification fight Saturday night at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

If it doesn't make history, it doesn't make sense at this point in Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's career.

The face of boxing will continue his quest to become the first undisputed world super middleweight champion in boxing history Saturday night, when he faces Billy Joe Saunders in a 168-pound unification bout at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tex. Canelo's WBA (Super), WBC, and The Ring super middleweight titles, along with Saunders' WBO 168-pound title, will be on the line.

The winner will most certainly try to book a fight with IBF champion Caleb Plant to secure undisputed glory at super middleweight.

After winning the WBA (Super) and WBC titles via a dominant unanimous decision over Callum Smith in December, Canelo made Avni Yıldırım's corner throw in the towel after the third round in what felt like nothing more than a one-way sparring session this past February.

Leading up to the bout with Saunders during Cinco de Mayo weekend, Canelo is well aware of the history at hand.

"To win all these titles at 168 pounds," Alvarez says in a promotional clip for the fight, "no Mexican has ever done it."

Meanwhile, Saunders is coming off a lopsided unanimous decision win over Martin Murray in December.

Saunders knows that Canelo is trying to conquer his latest chapter of boxing history and could think of nothing better than to upset those plans and etch his own marks in the annals of the sweet science.

"I'm Billy Joe Saunders and I'm not f—ing afraid of greatness," he says in the same promo video.

Will Canelo inch one step closer to achieving boxing history at 168 pounds or will Saunders put together the best performance of his career for what would be a huge upset?

Here's everything you need to know about Canelo vs. Saunders.

CANELO VS. SAUNDERS START TIME
Date: Saturday, May 8

Main event: 11 p.m. ET/4 a.m. BST
The Canelo vs. Saunders main card launches at 8 p.m. ET/1 a.m. BST, with the headliners expected to make their ring walks at approximately 11 p.m. ET/4 a.m. BST for their highly-anticipated super middleweight championship unification bout

Canelo should be banned from boxing

Now this should be a good fight.
I'll post a stream if I can find one.

4am kick off unfortunately.

PS - I'll merge this in with the other one

Remind me again which plumbs were wanting that Mexican car valeter to do AJ again so we could have an American champ and fights at 4am stateside all the time.

Oh thats right, @Glos Blue and @Dr Lecter. If you knocked their heads together you’d have enough sawdust come out to make it look like Nuggles had been round with his Junior Black and Decker Jigsaw.

I think you’ll find I wanted AJ to win.
Rancid head.

I’d like AJ to win, solely because he’s a Brit but I think Ruiz is the better boxer and can move quickly for a fat lad.

I stand corrected. Still think Ruiz is the better boxer though baldy? Didn’t lay a glove on him in the second fight.

Technically better, yes. Just fought like an asthmatic walrus during the rematch.

He’s decent technique wise but AJ went away and improved, getting behind his jab. Light work all night. AJ needed that first loss to remind him to move his head.

I'm with @Glos Blue on this one. I loved seeing AJ being ragdolled by a chubby Mexican:hehe:

For the record I knew that fat Mexican was gash. Only a fraud would lose to that.

I just enjoy winding you up when it comes to your big black man crush.

Fury will tie him up in knots though.

I'll still look at his pictures on my wall. Never mind what the nasty Gippo does. I'll make it better.
