I was a little concerned when Cian Ashford (who made his debut for the Under 23 team at the age of 16 at the back end of the season) did not appear on the retained list issued by the club about ten days ago, but this is very good news - the fact it's a three year contract shows how highly rated he is by the club;-

Really pleased Sam Bowen has signed for a further two years. As for the Academy lads who have got their first pro contracts, I’m not surprised by any of them - King, Pritchard and Jones have all played quite a bit of Under 23 team football and have fitted in well.
