Just been to Sainsbury’s. Few other lads there in City shirts, giving each other sad, knowing looks.

Crushed, broken men, with pain etched in their faces and sadness in their eyes. They woke up with hope in their hearts, and here we are a few hours later doing the food shop, wondering where our hopes and dreams went.

Agree with most of that but we didn't deserve a point. Sunderland were more likely to have got a third than we were to have equalised

Fair enough. Stats say it was pretty even. We had most of the ball, most shots, same on target, their keeper had to make more saves. They could/should have scored a couple first half due to our suicidal defence. Second half we were comfortably the better side. Unlucky on a couple of occasions not to score.

Thought Siopis was good today.

I thought he did what he usually does. Worked his socks off, won the ball too many times to mention. Can't pass to save his life. He really needs to make a simple pass when he wins it and let someone else look for their man.

We had one chance that forced a decent save (going wide anyhow I think) and Meite did well to create a half chance that was well blocked. Tanner leapt well for a header at the end of the first but less said about it's accuracy the better. That was it I think for us realistically. Forget the powder puff shots - their keeper was never really worried today.

We conceded two, Hovarth made two good saves I think (one at least defo) and they wasted at least two high quality chances. Parts of our game were better but the dearth of creativity still an issue and the passing from the keeper was high risk and low/ no reward.

Ralls and Siopis were fine, O'Dowda and Willock look to be forming a good partnership. Ramsey was a waste of space and various players were guilty of trying to force long passes.

Meité was a real handful when he came on, but we really lost all momentum when Ralls, Robinson and Willock went off.

Less said about Colwill (R) the better.

I think he had less than that.
At least when he came on he looked to create something at pace instead of passing Iit backwards.
We were the best team and it was disappointing but there were signs that gives us hope.
Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

You are right, he should have played instead of Ramsey, who was pants, but he had been on the pitch for about 10 minutes before he actually touched the ball at all.

That is not the way a class player imposes himself. He had a short time to influence the game, but he was anonymous ............. not surprised with that barnet though.

Kin'ell Teeds, for someone who's moaning about people being negative, you've always had an issue with RC.

First game and he came on as a late sub, give the kid a chance. He's shown he has something but he can't do it all by himself
