Erol Bulut set to stay as Cardiff City manager in huge boost for Bluebirds

Yes but sometimes you have to cut your cloth accordingly.
Anyway Built did well to finish 12th.football not easy on the eye but I would take that over relegation. Don't forget he followed a long line of failures.
Morrison would probably have been ok. Lamouchi did the job asked if him so you're being OTT. 12th is a decent finish in our circumstances but unless he bucks up his ideas we'll be going backwards next season - a lot of clubs figured us out and we had no plan B.

The one thing I'll say for Bulut is on the rare occasions he had a strong squad to select from we actually played decent football. He was very conservative when he has to utilise mediocre players.

Can I be considered a youngster down the City? I’ve been going for about 29 years mun with my old man and then getting a ST each year since I was a teen.
If your in your 30s your a youngster

I liked Harris to be fair it's his man management that let him down.
Lamouchi was ok he is hard to judge.
Obviously our squad needs to be strengthened
but you could get best manager there is in he will need talent to work with.

That's fair. I think he's an average manager - generally win and lose the games he's meant to and does much better when he has a stronger squad to pick from (who doesn't?). You'll have no argument from me in squad strengthening but expenditure wise we finished roughly where we meant to. Hopefully he has a few more canny buys up his sleeve.

I can't make my mind up on his personality - not sure if some things get lost in translation. Can be a likeable chap but sometimes seems pretty chippy.

Harris was on a downward spiral at the end though, 6 losses out of 7 before he got the boot. He did great in his first season after Warnock walked mind.
Got a tune out of Tomlin and finished in 5th place, thought we were unlucky not to at least take Fulham to ET in the PO semis as well but the damage was done in the home leg.

I'm just enjoying the novelty of having the same manager two pre-seasons in a row.

I’m happy with this, we wouldn’t have got anyone better than bulut. Don’t see point in chopping and changing managers all the time. Hopefully a bit of stability will help us move forward this season coming.

While we could do better than Bulut I wouldn't trust the Board to get it right. Some stability will hopefully pay dividends as we have a core squad all in contract. I'd like to see him mix things up a bit more next season and am hoping King and Davies have progressed enough to be proper squad members

bad news for Isaak Davies i think, bad news for both colwills and bad news for the fans who want a bit of excitement on a saturday afternoon.

i do hope im wrong, but i feel bulut has to adapt a bit too much to at least match last seasons results

Yes Willo, it's good to stem the flood of new managers.

Nothing to get excited about but it’s stability and I’ll be happy with another mid table finish if the quality of our game improves and the academy lads are given a fair crack

Glad a decision has been made and a nod to stability. Pretty underwhelmed though
Why, if he would if had the team/ squad if early doors, he was doing OK imho, yes when a couple went of radar through injury ( rambo & odowda especially) and others then suffering early burn out, due to no suitable like 4 like replacements.
Yes, After that the football was not pretty for sure, but let's see who he can get to sign, hopefully with a bit of money to spend. and perhaps then he will change tack.:aya::aya:

Hope so mate, said similar elsewhere

About time.
Not sure what people were expecting really.
Big names mean big money.
Better stick with what you know and give him the chance to develop things a new face coming in is back to square one again.
Well according to some, Bulut wasn't a cheap option( Dalman also said as much when he signed, but who believes that guy:hehe:)
