On your numerous trips to the comb, you wanna know how many people we had asking for you to be unbanned?
About the same number who saw your rantings on the comb and decided to join up,
You’ve definitely improved since those days, and like I said, I think you’re a decent bloke, but don’t try re-writing history or making yourself out to be bigger than the forum.
You have an uncanny ability of bringing up the past, quite impressively so.
If I write some political thing, its no secret ive told yoh before, you'll find some obscure post from the year dot to try and make me look a berk, whilst explaining 'its quite simple really, you only need to use the search bar" but yet its only you that does it.
This forums inception went hand in hand with me losing both my parents, both to cancer, my father, who I went to watch Cardiff with week in week out.
But cos his wife was a hard arse, and cos of the limited seats in the actual wedding venue, I couldn't invite my step mothers kids to the day thing, so she stopped my dad coming to the whole wedding.
Which is why I said to you other week you are so lucky to have your Dad still
When my dad died, I.e. the guy I used to go watch football with, died not making up with me about the wedding, it was something I didn’t get my head around.
I went a bit to the dark side with drink, and got naturally angry with the world.
Is it any excuse for the way i acted before ?
No.
But may shed some light onto the oppressive behaviour i showed while thinking the people i was speaking to were just usernames to me.
Perhaps, deep down, its a wonder why ive been vying for a forum get together, to meet everyone that I know, make my day as the years gone on
I’m genuinely sorry about your parents, and you sure as shit don’t need to justify your past to me or anyone else.
The thing is though, you set yourself up to be controversial, whether you do it to wind people up or genuinely believe some of the shit you come out with, or a mixture of the two is irrelevant. If your going to post something controversial to get a reaction, we’ll guess what - your going to get a reaction.
Likewise, the best way to not look like a hero, is to not be a berk.
I’m quite happy to leave you to it if that’s what you want.
