First Newport. And now Wrexham. Great backstories to their respective second/third kits. And excellent marketing. This United Airlines vid is great. And what do we get? Lime kits that look like no lime I've ever seen. Grey and green kits that were supposed to reflect the coal and the green of the Valleys and sky blue kits representing Cardiff's maritime heritage. What a load of shit. God, I hope we get people in charge our club that 1 Are really good at marketing and 2 Understand what our club is all about.

Welsh settlers in Patagonia were religious extremists and committed atrocities against indigenous people that we have a convenient amnesia about. This is tokenism and populism

Have we even got a third kit yet?

I hear it’s going to be in the Palestine flag colours in honour of Splotto.

If we formally went back to one of our old badges, would it bring you to tears? After 20 years of campaigning by Wolfsburg fans to have their old badge back, the club has agreed. When the new logo was announced before a recent match the fans couldn't contains their emotions - see video which follows. Clearly turrets are very important to Wolfsburg fans

Why they didn't do it before if that popular? Good on them though
The one they wanted to get rid of was very boring though. At least the castellated W has meaning. Wolfsburg means wolf castle.

Indeed, but it would have been such a small thing to change and quickly achieve good will and likely increase revenue. They could have done it ages ago - no obvious downside but quite a few positives

I can see why they hated this, it looks like a supermarket logo or something

I agree Jimmy. Taking the chinese dragon off our badge would also be a small thing to do and would almost certainly raise revenue. Personally, if we do change our badge. I would do a version of a different earlier badge. The simple bluebird in a circle possible with Cardiff City FC in an outer circle.

I was going to make the comparison but with Tan it's obviously a matter of face / pride. Nobody will miss the Chinese dragon and that's nothing against Tan

Apparently, Tan will also not allow yellow in our kit. Which is strange because as far as I can establish, there are no negative associations with yellow in Chinese culture.

Probably been lobbied hard by @TDA.

Strange if true as white often associated with death in Chinese culture and he has no issues with that being on the kit

Probably worried about it blending in…..
