Probably the reason Guinness tastes so different in the RoII learnt this week that Guinness is brewed to about 8% and then watered down before putting in kegs or cans.
So, although Guinness from your local is brewed in Ireland, nearly 50% of it is finest Runcorn tap water.
I quite like the foreign extra Guinness & I love an imperial stout but I'd really like to try the brewed strength Guinness on nitro draught.
Nice little Friday evening fact for you. Impress your mates with it later if you like.

What's your verdict?
I've no idea what it cost, but at 46%, I've put a lump of ice in it and it has the feel of a good light bodied Speyside malt - a Glenlivet maybe, but with a kickWhat's your verdict?
I quite like it but usual price point higher than it should be imo
