I’m more concerned that the levels of sudden patriotism by parts of our society could be seen as jingoistic as opposed to patriotism
I’m not disputing something has to be done with illegal immigrants entering the country
How about treating them with dignity and respect
15 years of Tory misrule and incompetence has left our immigration facilities in a shocking state
They are being housed in hotels as there’s nowhere else to put them
None of them will receive any benefits until their immigration appeal is heard
I’m not sure what the answer is but stopping boats clearly isn’t working

I have no issues with people having opposing opinions to that of mine
It’s part of living in a democracy
Something that many of the immigrants do not have the pleasure of having
On the surface the flag waving does seem quite a gentle way of expressing their opinions but sadly it does seem in my opinion to be hiding a more racist agenda
I’m more concerned of our homegrown scumbags who appear do not share any values with either myself or a large part of society
