Harlech Castle, now almost a mile from the sea, it once had direct, protected access to the sea via an elaborate series of curtain walls down the cliff.

Love that pub. The views are superb. Harlech beach one of my favourites

Porth Wen Brickworks first built by Charles E Tidy, is now a disused Victorian brickworks which produced fire bricks, made from quartzite (silica) used to line steel-making furnaces.

The substantial remains include a number of buildings and the remains of some of the machinery, but has some damage from sea erosion.

King's Quoit is a Neolithic burial chamber located in Manorbier, 5 miles east of Pembroke, Pembrokeshire.

It is a scheduled monument. Two small side stones support a capstone in this small Neolithic chambered tomb, or cromlech.

The tomb is beautifully perched in a dramatic location above Manorbier Bay with views across to Manorbier Castle.

I worked in Coleg Harlech for a while. Stayed in the most disgusting concrete monstrosity of a tower block a few hundred yards from the castle. No idea what fucking lunatic thought that was a good idea. 1990 and I had to pay £2 per week rent. Straight up.
