It's in there somewhere, but with a little help from elsewhere, I am pretty sure it's James Hayter. I'd forgotten that he was in Are You Being Served for a little while.

Light hearted WW2 film featuring a large animal. Our chap isn't often the main character in films, but has been in countless supporting roles. He isn't easily recognised from this photo, which is why I chose it.

Correct so far. The film was Hannibal Brooks, but this actor was also in Bonnie & Clyde.

Ah, this show was part of a sub plot in the recent series of Goliath on Amazon. I didn't know it until then.

A NBC production of 17 episodes originally aired in 1969 and repeated many times .

I hadn't realised that it was a real programme until this photo. Its involvement in Goliath was seriously weird, but I won't say anything that could be a spoiler.
