He puts some excellent runs and crosses in. I don't think he could have done much more this season but next season will be a sterner test

3 out of 4 isn't bad. I'm sorry to see Wintle go but there isn't a bottomless pit of money and BBM has earned trust. Made some big calls before last season and all seem vindicated

A test I’m sure he’ll pass. He’s played around 60 games at Championship level so we know he’s capable.

Plenty of championship experience but like Wintle, has never really excelled at that level. Very good at League one level and hope he can kick on from last year’s performances.
I’d still like us to sign an upgrade or at least someone who can push him for the starting place.

I think he's proved himself a more than decent Championship player while we were there. That last season there though was a fucking joke all round and it wasn't the players who caused that
 
I'm sure that LB is a position that will be strengthened as I don't think there is anyone coming through the academy who is near ready enough. Luey Giles is a way off yet and will probably benefit from another loan.

Depending on his fitness, I wouldn't mind a second loan of Scanlon.

Yeah you've had this theory on Scanlon for a while now and he would be a good signing as back up.

Hopefully he's come of age as a player. Having a settled position probably helped. I never understood the notion of not bringing in proper competition for him - no player should be immune from that. Be interesting to see if Scanlon stays as he looks to have a fair bit of potential
