I'd prefer to keep Turnbull in the Championship but not at the wages stated online at £17k/week in League One and then the requisite bump on promotion to whatever in the Championship.

If those numbers are shite and he's actually on a fair bit less I'd absolutely keep him as he offers something in the passing game I think we lack in that 8 role and his game management abilities.

I wonder whether Robertson will end dropping down to 6?

Multiple times this season he had to be subbed on a booking in the first half and that was at 8, not the more tackle-oriented and defensive 6.

May be a thought that would allow us to keep Daland and still have 4 CBs in the rotation.

Think Chambers isn't quick enough these days for the style of DM BBM wants. Wintle wasn't that physical in the role, relying on nicking the ball away.

I'd suspect BBM wants somebody more aggressive in the tackle, more mobile.
