Matter of opinions though
Finny how things work out. At the end of last season we lost Kaba Kipre and Billy Jean. Out of those three I thought we’d miss Kipre the most. In reality he’s the one we’ve missed the least thanks to how good Goutas has been.,
I think I’d go with Kipre though. Last season we were garbage and he was the one player that was consistently showing quality. Without him I think we would have got relegated.

Goutas. Absolutely no question with the way we play now. Kipre is a very good centre half, but Goutas is a better footballer imo.
Never tried Kipre,had Goulas once....very nice,although the spices did give me heartburn

I’d also pick Goutas… but I think he’s a better defender, where as Kipre is a better footballer. Goutas more of a set piece threat.

No disrespect to Kipre but Goutas for me. He is good with the ball a leader and a threat at set pices.
Kipre is great with the ball at his feet but prone to the odd mistake . Liked him a lot but sometimes felt he would be better as defensive midfielder.

The main deciders are:
1) Consistency. Goutas definitely more reliable game by game.
2) Partnership and mentoring of McGuinness. Not sure Kipré and McGuinness worked as well together.
Arguments against:
1) Kipré younger, more years potentially ahead of him
2) Maybe slightly silkier, slightly quicker on the ball.

WEED CLUB I like both. Kipre is classier I reckon and love the way he uses his physicality sparingly to keep the other team guessing. Goutas is all intensity and controlled aggression. The best compliment you can give Goutas is we're not lamenting not having Kipre anymore.
