LEYTON ORIENT 1-1 CARDIFF CITY: POST MATCH FANS REACTIONS

HOME OFF-TOPIC 🔒 FUN BETS
The only thing that annoyed me more than the wanker Archibald was the director of the live stream. Bloke needs sacking,

Don’t ever say these words again he’s won us more points than anybody else in this squad :nope:
Hmm, Salech with his goals.

It was stupid, something that's been coming. When the attacker is that close, you clear, don't get cute, especially that close to the goal line.

There's a massive difference between a keeper playing as a sweeper-keeper than thinking he's fucking Messi 1 foot from goal.

Hence, "if we'd taken our chances".

If Trott hadn't made that mistake, we win.
But every little event changes the course of the game, if we had been 1-0 up and he’d made that error late on, fair enough, but if he hadn’t conceded then Salech may not have scored his goal etc etc

And he'll probably make more by seasons end but he's crucial to the way we play. Our forwards make many more mistakes when it comes to finishing and it's them that could be costing us points

Unfortunately I think then substitutions sent us backwards today. Tanner was absolutely flying when he came off, I understand he's building his fitness back up but that was a strange move. And Kpakio has been a disaster recently, giving the ball away in precarious positions seems to be his new go to move. Not a bad point in the end, any away game with a point is a good result.

I assumed he’d taken Tanner off because of his booking and the opportunity to give Davies a go at Archibald who had also been booked. Made sense to me even if it didn’t work out.

It's risk level though.

Trott makes that kind of mistake, it's a goal against. That then means we need to score more.

You see the attacker is that close, you clear it. You try a dragback, whatever, it's absolute minging game intelligence - and it's something that's been coming.

I think you're missing the bigger picture of what he does for us and we're a far more efficient team with him playing the way he does.

I feel that Leyton Orient and Bradford are the two teams that have given us most problems so far this season.

On top of today's, I think a point next Saturday will represent a very good couple of results after a hectic December.

its 1 mistake

how good has he been all season? made a fantastic save shortly after as well. He’s accrued that mistake that as far as I’m concerned.

the risk level in the passing around defence is how we play now, it’s brought us to the success we are having. Learn to live with it and accept the odd error.

Not at all - as I said, the sweeper-keeper thing is great when the keeper is starting attacks, reading opposition attacks - and Trott is a big part of the way BBM wants us to play, rightly so.

My point is when he gets the ball with the attacker close, he's predisposed to try something cute which fans applaud rather than just clearing.

Great when it comes off, when it doesn't... you simply can't gift teams the ball near the penalty area at any level.

Trott cocked up but he made up for it with the point blank save from the header (cant remember the orient player). I quite enjoyed the game even though we didn't win as orient attacked and so many teams just sit back against us.

I don't think you're going to enjoy the rest of the season. I'm sure BBM just said shit happens same again next week young man

Most important thing next Saturday is not to lose. Bradford win that and suddenly they’re only 2 points away from us with real momentum
