I saw them at the Swn festival in the summer at Cornerstone on Charles St. Fabulous venue so maybe that was part of the attractionWe'll see. Only a few quid a ticket anyway. I saw a few bands last Saturday at the Sustainable Studio on Tudor Street. Great little venue. Shale were good, Slate were superb.

It seems her new album will be in English. Despite the fact I don't speak Welsh (or Cornish!) the new songs seem to have lost a bit of their charm. I've got her first three albums. Not sure I'll buy the new one.
I enjoyed her enough for half hour live - she's quite charismatic and can sing but I've never fancied listening to her at leisure

Fontaines a very good band, gone down the weird side recently with how they dress and stuff but the music is top, their newest album has done really well so would check that out. Also Skinty Fía which is their most popular

Saw them at Glastonbury last year so happy to listen outside a boozer opposite the castle this time. Did that for Noel Gallagher's gig last summer - didn't plan it but seemed daft not too as was in town and heard everything crystal clear
