Next manager betting

Jon Parkin said once that, Steve Evans came out of the toilet with shit on the back of his shirt as he wears them too big.
I want Steve Evans just for your reaction

I wouldn't be surprised if we don't have a new manager until June, so still a while to wait yet, although the club hopefully can appoint a football man upstairs in the meantime. I guess the top candidates will be 3 of the 4 league 1 playoff managers (Nathan Jones, Dave challinor, Richie Wellens) providing they don't get promoted (their playoff final isn't until 25th May) . Gary O'neil if he's prepared to drop down to league 1, Des buckingham, Ian Evatt or Aaron Ramsey if he changes his mind.

Don't think Tan and the boys will see it as a priority at the moment after all we aren't gonna lose any games between now and August

That soon? :hehe:

If the club appoints a manager before they change the structure of the club, then we're in for more of the same. I'm really expecting nothing here. An appointment just before training starts, someone who is either a big name, or another cheap stab in the dark. Remember Tan wanted Shearer at one stage.

I think that, until Tan came here, City had only ever appointed 2 ex players as managers. Richie Morgan and Alan Durban.

Since then we've had Gabbs, Young, Hudson, Rambo, and I feel I'm missing someone. I am surprised Kavanagh didn't go into management.

he did at Carlisle, but wasn't successful...so a perfect fit for Tan

It has to be Nathan Jones now doesn’t it.

It’s the perfect fit. He has a proven track record and he actually cares about the club.

Anybody else would be failing from the start.
