Sorry to hear about your wife, but well done on successfully performing CPR.If that scenario plays out........... I really couldn't bring myself to waste another minute of what is i reality, PRECIOUS time, that in truth could be spent with loved ones! I've said it a few times over the yrs, just never meant it like this time! Life's short !! I had to perform cpr Saturday, on my wife!! At home, alone! She is now in recovery at home, thank fuck! So had a peep on here while she sleeping, but this could end my association with the city if it played out!

I’ve been trained how to do it and to use a defibrillator but hope to God I never have to use it.
Thankfully all went well, we are both trained in cpr & defibrillator use too, due to having a great nephew who is a Trachy child, and has complicated medical issues; due to being born with no upper airway, or voice box etc! After her 1st attack in 2023, we both did month long course on emergency tracheostomy care, and emergency replacement if needed.which also included cpr training
Its something a lot more people should take up if given the chance, did I shit myself? Damn right! Especially being the Mrs of 42 years! But now it's sinking in on how well I actually did, under terrifying conditions( being alone with her) thanks for your kind words.
