Good spot on the van, but I think it might be one of these, i.e. a Commer Imp not a Husky. Is that a GB plate on the back?

Ah yes; I think you're right. The Husky had glass side panels, rather than solid:

The car in the picture does look to have a 'GB' sticker, on the back.

Nice.

Is that the end of Mackross’ building on the left, by the (possibly) Hillman Husky van?
The Prince Albert pub was near there somewhere, they had cast iron table and trees in there, I’d love to find a photo of the interior. It was me and my mates town local.

Remember the (I think) coal mine pumping equipment that used to be on display outside the National Museum, on Park Place?

I don't know when they were removed, or why.

Houses at the eastern end of Queen Street - between Windsor Place and Dumfries Place - prior to their being demolished, in 1925:

I just found a couple more photographs featuring these houses....

All three are visible in this 1912 photo, which has Dumfries Place in the background:

They are also just about visible in this 1890s photograph of the Park Hotel:

I worked in Companies House from 1976 to 1989, so got to know Maindy fairly well, don't recognise this street though, can't think of a hill like that in Maindy.
I don’t know the area so I dont know, I’m going on the information on the photo
