None of that changes a root issues, overplaying allows defences to reset, lots of half chances, players scared to shoot. Did Salech touch it in the penalty area other than when that shot hit him in the face?

I get we've had issues with no striker (Robinson's decline alarming) with Salech out, the false nine worked till it didn't, but we're playing Cian Ashford out wide? He's a second striker / ten.
Got a bit of strength about him - not a battering ram, but would be an option yet it's never been tried with him as a 9.

On the bright side, we know how good he can be so playing poorly could increase our chances of signing him permanently.
He's at his best running with the ball though. Doesn't give the ball away and works hard to help fullback. Better on the right than the left I reckon but puts in a good shift
