Football PETERBOROUGH 1-1 CARDIFF: POST MATCH FANS REACTIONS

What's all this "historically" bollocks?

Each game is an individual, discrete event. Previous games there have no bearing on that game...

It's as if previous results mean we should be magically happy we were wasteful in attack and could easily have lost.
Just another gobshite trying to look clever. A lot of stats that get reeled out are bollocks / inconsequential

It's a bit like you telling us the future bollox, when you keep on about how we're going to struggle next season

Indeed, 85.678% I heard.

All those players today who weren't here during the Jones era were clearly scared, thinking if we only score 1, then conceding 1 for a draw wouldn't be as bad as 4-0 up to 4-4?

Are there ghosts in Peterborough's away locking room scaring our fragile heroes?

Wether we go up or not, this squad needs serious investment.

BBM is slowly becoming more and more what Rochdale fans told us he'd be, a system manager that he tries to force players into without regard to whether they fit or not.

We've been worked out for a long time now, a low block and hit us with balls over the top for a counter and we are very vulnerable due to the very high line we play and it's only down to the incompetence of the teams beneath us that we haven't been caught. We have turned unbelievably one-dimensional where we are only a threat on the counter. We pass when we should shoot and shoot when we should pass. I've seen us craft the most beautiful attacking moves and give them up by passing two or three times too many.

I can see exactly why the fans have given up and just shout "shoot" when we're near the box as shots from outside the box have unironically been our best chances of scoring recently - most notably today being the Wintle touch and the top wave from their keeper in the first half.

We swing crosses into no-one, balls in behind to no-one and sub on players like Kpakio, who love him, is not a full back and was responsible for their goal today and almost another one.

Ten games ago before we played Stockport and their thuggery I'd have said we'd win the league at a canter. Right now, if we went into the playoffs, we'd be out in the first leg, never mind the second. I don't know whether we're mentally fragile or not, but the constant rotations all over the pitch lead to players being hooked even after having a great few games and not having a settled side. We could've played another hour today and not scored a second.

BBM is the ultimate tinkerman.

Kpakio is fucking shite. How he's always in the squad is embarrassing.
Just the point I was going to make.

He is all over the place defensively and had to be baby sat through that game. His decision making is awful. It seems like making to Wales squad has gone to his head. God knows what Bellamy sees there.

Not enough to stop us struggling.

We’d need a lot of help for Lawlor Salech and Trott.

The rest are below average championship players.

I don't think the squad is that bad tbh. If only we could become consistently more clinical up front we'd have enough to worry quite a few in the championship. All these missed opportunities are having a real adverse effect on belief.

I agree but belief can make or break a team and once lost it's harder to get back

As we're witnessing right now
I think we're a ridiculously mentally fragile team, and have been for a long long time going back to the early 2000s and beyond (excepting the Warnock years)

He came in, a lot of hype and going forward he delivered.

People then tagged him as the next great right back.

Capped for Wales.

And brutally exposed by wingers getting at him.

He needs games for experience, we know he can be good going forward, play him as a winger. Don't expose him defensively right now, let him learn that defensive side.

Right now, put him in at RB and it's a big glaring "please run at me" target.
