Qualification from a European group is the most difficult. Not much was expected after the shambles that Page left, but it was that glimmer of hope that Bellamy gave that would be what is hurting now.

Seems to me that the youngsters coming through will provide a more realistic challenge over the next few years, provided they are given the chance.
