You've admitted you didn't watch the video, yet assumed people are getting offended for the sake of it. In this thread, at least one person seems vexed at there being BAME people in adverts.
The video shows an elected MP, who represents constituents that will be BAME, openly saying she gets angry seeing BAME people in adverts. I think it's rather amusing, that people get angry about such things. Others are angry at her, and maybe you think that's unjustified.
If that's how she feels then she's entitled to voice her opinion, it's her political career and the public will/should decide if what she said was unacceptable.
Sometimes I feel context is lost on people with your views. IMO she was correctly stating that advertising on the whole isn't representing correctly the majority of British families as it currently stands. Is what she says actually wrong or is she telling the truth?
Since when has race trumped the truth?
