Just back home. Decent night, great noise from our end, hope it came across on telly. Two big positives tonight were Giles and Lawlor who both did really well and didn’t look at all out of place against a strong Villa team. I really hope they’re given a chance in the league.
One slight downside was a small section of our lot singing along to Sweet Caroline as we left. Made me feel a bit sick.Sounded good

Never happy in defeat ,but I like many saw the Villa line up feared the worse.But we came away with a gritty performance even it was as expected a defensive one.To come away with a respectable scoreline and some good performances .Salech showing he can become a cult figure with his strong forward play and his willingness to attack the box.
And yet, weirdly, he's one of the few people I don't have on ignore.
