Indeed - getting out of this league is priority one. Yes, we'll need to improve for the championship but quite a few of the youngsters should be playing above the levels of the journeymen we had previously. We'll have to improve a lot to be a force in the championship but think what we have is better than at least 3 Championsip teams provided belief and morale isn't in the shed like it was last season

Funny how one hears things around you before the game ,yesterday this bloke near said to his mate Ashford why the fuck has he been picked them low and behold Ashford probably put his most complete performance during this season so far.I understand Mansfield weren't the best we've faced ,but the fear that the game was going the way the Burton game went until we scored the second goal and what a move it was .After that we settled and should have had the game more comfortable than the 3-0 suggested.Some decent performances from individuals yesterday Wintle was outstanding and though he has come in for criticism and rightly Turnball had his best game for a while and nearly capt it with a screamer .Robinson gave a typical reaction when brought off of pointing to himself and saying who me surely not.Again a game were most of the atmosphere was generated from the away supporters seems to be the trend now.Even listening to our away games it seems the our lot generate more noise than the home support.Great win on to the next one .

We dominated the ball and played some neat football.Being critical just feel we should show opponents less respect and go bit more direct.

There was a good mix of possession football and playing balls into the box yesterday. We were trying to be much more positive than we have been in other games

I agree but we didn't see one in the first half when we had all the play.
Side to side football but now and again take them on have a go. We got players who can do it.Defenders hate it but love the square game in front of them it's easier to defend.

Because we're in that twilight area where the squad - especially depth - is too good for League One, but is it good enough for next season.

I agree this season is for getting the formation, tactics approach ironed out but equally at times we've ridden our luck a bit. Trott has been outstanding, but against better quality finishers we'd be punished. If we can start putting teams to the sword, then I think we'll stay up next season in the Champ. In terms of assessing which players are Champ quality, it's difficult to say atm.

Which was an encouraging sign. Give that service to Salech regularly, and he'll knock 'em in.

We won comfortably so that's the bottom line.
I bet some of these defenders read our team sheet and see Davies Kellyman Ashford Willock etc and think could be in for a long afternoon only to see us passing square most of the game.
It's the modern game I suppose can't say it's a better watch.

Prem is starting to move away from that - Arsenal seem to only score from set pieces. Long throws are back in fashion.
