Presumably long-term watertight leases in place, favourable terms (or so they thought) that have bitten them in the arse as demand dropped. How the fuck do you balls up a business like that which is already a massive rip off?

Greedy cunts milked the golden goose for as long as they could and didn’t keep enough cash reserves.
Sorry but it's the dumbest, most simple and obvious point that every teenage pothead since Woodstock has said at some point. The man is pitting us against each other maaan.

Was probably drafted by a flunky or AI to get him some PR. People have been saying exactly that kind of stuff for at least 30 yearsSorry but it's the dumbest, most simple and obvious point that every teenage pothead since Woodstock has said at some point. I see people post it on here from time to time, sagely nodding as they drop this brand new wisdom on us like it isn't the most banal observation ever made.
First of all, are those things even "on the rise"? On the rise since when? Is he trying to tell me racism, sexism and homophobia are worse now than they were in the 70s? Are they on the rise, or is he just spending too much time on his social media feed?
I would agree that following the 2008 financial crisis the "Occupy" protests and similar protests across the West hit a bit too close to home for the elites, there has been a concerted distraction effort from the upper echelons using traditional and social media, but the tools they use to distract us are the very things he's listed - we've been made to think that racism, homophobia, misogyny, transphobia etc are suddenly all out of control and need addressing much sooner than silly little things such as redistribution of wealth.
But Dyer and his ilk going around repeating his "wisdom" is just buying right into the distraction, not only does it solve literally nothing, it makes things worse because more people buy into it.
If you look at the bottom of the pic you can see he's quoted as saying it in Rolling Stone, an absolute prime example of legacy media. Was probably drafted by a flunky or AI to get him some PR. People have been saying exactly that kind of stuff for at least 30 years

I think most people having the arguments these days are doing so because of social media.Sorry but it's the dumbest, most simple and obvious point that every teenage pothead since Woodstock has said at some point. The man is pitting us against each other maaan.
