In terms of G/A, you need to remember the SPL generally is poor standard - Hearts, Celtic, Rangers aside. 1 goal, 1 assist against those three, so the overwhelming output has been against sides League One/Two standard.
IF BBM rates him, then great, but I suspect he'd want to stay in Scotland. Move to Celtic for the stat padding and European football.
It sounds as Mafico has a great attitude if he's bounced back and had a great season at Yeovil. He'll probably have a decent career but might be tricky for him to break through at the city in the next few seasons
He's had BBM praise him to the hilt ("Elite 6").
He then gets played at LB and gets so exposed we had to haul him off at half time.
He has a brilliant loan, does really well - in midfield - then they put him at LB and haul him off arfter 40 and 45 minutes - having conceded 7 goals in two games in those 85 minutes.
It's just absolutely bonkers.
He and King would be candidates to replace Wintle should he go - and if he stays. in 2-3 years would be replacing him anyway.
It’s clear as day that he struggles defensively and any opposing manager regardless of level, will have done their research and identified his weakness in that position.

WEED CLUB Would be good if we end up with 3 pretty good keepers next season, which doesn't look implausible. Probably not sustainable longer term though

It's not uncommon for youngsters to get starts at fullback when when it's clear they won't end up there. Obviously it doesn't always work out but when it does it shows they have a lot of potential. To be done really well it's a difficult position but a well rounded highly talented youngster can often do ok there.

I have to agree, it seems very counter intuitive to move a player who has excelled in midfield into LB.

Well yeah of course I understand the level of SPL football, I’m not an idiot. But it’s not like there hasn’t been a practical conveyer belt of players that have come from there and been successful in the Championship.
