I get very nostalgic in my old age. For me the best days of drinking, and the best ever pubs in our lovely city, are all gone.great thread al but a sad one. another pub closed down the other week in bargoed but luckily a local man has bought it and is going to invest in it big time
can't beat the great atmosphere of a pub. i drink in a club which is a lovely club and good locals and staff but i miss my local pub which closed down years ago. we all still talk about the place now. great memoriesI get very nostalgic in my old age. Missed this, was it the Bristol Joe?The old pub where Tresillian Way is now. Cant remember the name. Not the Custom House it was nearer Central Station.
Loved the Newcastle Exhibition bitter that they served in there, they had it in the Fleurs to, I always had a few in there before 2-10 and 10-6 shifts over East MoorsThe Alexandra at the bottom of Queen street, later became the pig and whistle and then casa Gils, great pub, fucking cinema there now
