I thought it was a great window. Get rid of the hangers on and bad apples. Use the youngsters that are ready for league 1. And bring in a few additions to give quality and depth.

Here’s the one thing I don’t understand. Why does the transfer window stay open until well after the season starts. This makes zero sense to me. Wouldn’t or shouldn’t it close before teams report for training camp so you can evaluate your roster properly and be able to hit the ground running?
As you go up the leagues, the games actually start later.
It wouldn’t make any sense to slam the window shut when the first games are in L1 for example.
