League one very much had League one standard refs. I just don’t think we realised how much worse they were than the Championship. The only thing that was good about them was their general tendency to not to blow up for really soft challenges.

I was surprised how big the difference was. I like to see physicality in the game but some of the L1 reffing was laughable and shambolic

If hypothetically you claimed you were saying tent boys would that be ok or discriminatory against the homeless?

More like the football I grew up watching...Just blokes on a grand a week smashing the grannie out of each other. An early yellow card sorts it all out usually. That was the biggest mistake I noticed. Flash an early yellow and everyone winds their necks in.
