Scandalous...

BBC Sport understands tickets for the final in MetLife Stadium, New York, are in three tiers:

  • 'Supporter value tier' - £3,119 ($4,185)
  • 'Supporter standard tier' - £4,162 ($5,560)
  • 'Supporter premium tier' - £6,615 ($8,860)

What excellent value and such a fair standard price. Such shameless cash grabbing ghouls

Those prices won’t stay like that for long. Iraq vs New Zealand isn’t gonna sell out let’s be real. It’ll be like the Club World Cup where they end up giving away tickets or majorly slashing the prices. Still tho, absolute piss take that they’ve got away with that pricing in the first place

What a farce though. We know the mo ey won't go where it's meant to and loads of FIFA and Trump cronies will pocket it.

Will be interesting to see what the prices of the tickets the FAW get cost should we get there. The idea of paying well over a ton plus to watch garbage like Qatar is hilarious. They're weakening the tournament by bringing in shit minnows and charging everyone a fortune at the same time

All gearing up to be the shittest World Cup since that African one with the flies and vulvazelas.

Be nice to see us there but it’s been diluted so much that there’s barely anything in our group to even get excited about.,

The thing for me is that it SHOULD be a tournament of the best football teams in the world, and it clearly isn’t.

City under 23’s would beat half of them.

It’s been turned into an “event”. “The people’s game”? My arse. The only people who will be able to go to the final are millionaires, people on corporate jollies and celebrities.

It’s all a bunch of politically correct bollocks imho, all about the $ and self promotion and egos of FIFA and that orange cunt.

Players don’t matter
The game doesn’t matter

As for the mugs, sorry fans, we’re totally unimportant.

The tournament was already weakened by going to 32 teams - going to 48 teams is ridiculous especially as spots largely allocated to regions already overrepresented and with very poor quality sides

I have some sympathy with expanding it a little - watching Wales in a WC and meeting people from all over the world was an amazing experience which probably wouldn't have happened with the smaller numbers from previous tournaments. A great fan experience doesn't make for a good tournament though. The scandalous prices for the next WC will also stop a lot of normal football fans from attending - and there will be loads of chinless wonders there.

Why can't FIFA and their like understand that less is more? That's a rhetorical question - they don't care about fans, players or the good of the game - they only give a fuck about themselves, money and the gravy train.

World Cup should only ever be played in one country and have 4 African sides...2 from Japan/Korea area..1 of the Aussies or NZ...8 South Americans and 26 European Teams.

Don't even know if that adds up but fuck it...

That'll do.

I doubt they'll get to the final anyway. Just a guess.

I doubt either will be in the final, mate, especially since Iraq didn't qualify.
