Since we have been at CCS I have generally been in a group of around 10 /15 season ticket holders in our row made up of friends or friends of friends. Over the last few years that has dwindled to the point where there may well be only 2 of us renewing next season. Some of those that have stopped are casual fans, but recently there have been a couple that have been going for well over 30 years, proper die hard City fans. Losing these sort of fans, the heart and soul of the club, should be a cause of great concern to the club.

If we stay up we are going to lose fans that are just fed up going but if we get relegated we could easily see league attendances of less than 10,000 for the first time in many years, and once fans get out of the habit of going it can be hard to get them back, undoing years of progress in increasing the core support.

Who is planning on renewing for next season?

just rather drinking cans in the house than drinking shite fosters out of a plastic cup for 6 pound tbh. shite food, shite atmosphere when i can buy 20 cans for 20 squid. but i will go down to watch them if i get a lift down :hehe:

just keep away from those bummer boys @Glos Blue and @Popeye

saying that :sherlock:

Our little group is renewing, whatever league we're in.

It'll be interesting to see the enthusiasm if next season is as listless.

I think we'll sell more than that

If we go down?

I doubt it.

The only way we’ll maintain our crowds is if we get the feel good factor back over the summer and end up with some real optimism - much like Birmingham have done this season.

For that to happen we need a new manager and/or owner to excite the fans. I’d love that to happen but Tan is a deluded old prick who thinks he’s going to get top dollar for us and wouldn’t know a decent football manager if it bit him on the arse.

I'll renew. God willing we'll win a few games

I'll be renewing regardless of league

I got nothing better to do and watching the City is my only hobby other than drinking

I never plan on giving up my season ticket but would if it became seriously unenjoyable. I was getting close to quitting before we returned to blue and then Warnock brought back the feel good factor. It wasn't the shit football so much (didn't help though) more the sheer negativity and division around the club at the time made attending games very unenjoyable. For all our current problems I'm enjoying it these days though it would be nice to win more than the odd game

more than welcome to come up stantys for a few cans

I suppose it's a lot to do with age v priorities too.

In my case, I can't be arsed, I used to find any excuse to go to games before, and start early , like be down spoons for 9am etc.

I just find other things to do with my weekend now.

Footballers on obscene money has got something to do with it too.
Especially as I'm now approaching 50 yrs old and these boys are 20-30, something just don't sit right with me.

At least movie stars earning that entertain me

Yes his customer base is certainly shrinking

Dunno what players wages have to do with it tbh.
I’ll probably still renew, although my mate who I go to games with is thinking of packing it in.
Personally I don’t like mid-week games, and trying to get from golf course to ground on a Saturday is a ball ache.
End of the day though, I’m a firm believer that to truly appreciate success, you have to experience failure.
And Christ knows we’ve experienced a lot of that!

I’ll be renewing, I’ve seen worse City teams and owners. I don’t know about younger fans, who have never seen us play out of the two top divisions though.

Relegation won't determine if I renew its more a case of the continued changing times of kick offs on a Saturday due to Sky ,and getting home late for the night fixtures when working the next day.Massive changes needed within the club would Probly change my outlook to but it's looking likely we will continue on a downward spiral unless, this happens :bluebird:
