If I didn't know better I'd be thinking that behind the scenes someone is insisting the players shoot more

Cracking strike that mind

Vinnie's in the directors box shouting "shoooooooooooot" whenever we have the ball, just like the Canton

Question is, is it a coincidence we've started banging in goals since he's been out?
Teams in this division are not used to nor capable of defending a quality "false 9" and generally being attacked with pace and skill across the front line. They can defend better against a traditional CF but in some ways Salech's injury gave BBM the opportunity to try something different.

One of the most impressive things was how we defended in numbers. A good example was that their winger took on three of our players but we he was still outnumbered and dispossessed when he got to the box. Some of our pressing and defensive work was excellent

The fitness levels are incredible.

I have just watched Kellyman's goal where he receives Robinson's pass. Once he has the ball, he's gone with Seddon literally floundering in his wake and that in the 87th minute.

It's very impressive - the rotation must help with this

I didn't appreciate how good the pass was in real time. They both made it look easy

I know mate. Two home games in a row i missed and i do feel slightly guilty. We do have a rule though: I will sacrifice City home games and Wales home and away games for family holidays, theatre trips etc. But not City away games. The Mrs understands the Bus and away days come first:hehe::thumbup:. I am missing the Bosnia game next month as we inadvertently booked a lodge at whitemead for my birthday week. But hey ho:hehe:. If it was a City away day, i would have cancelled the break. My Mrs enters the City fixture details into her diary these days marking them as away or home.:hehe::thumbup:

We did mod off a bit for their goal.
And for the first 15 mins or so looked a bit shaky at the back.
We came through it well in the end and it may take any complacency out of our boys.
Wimbledon seemed to get frustrated at being outplayed and a few heavy challenges came in and shirt pulling etc that went unpunished.
The referee wasn't to bad despite that.

As the pitches get better and the weather gets warmer we'll be quicker again around the pitch.

Well no chance of that on Saturday, Plymouth is wet and cold atm

Another more than competent display last night .Who'd have thought we'd be slightly disappointed with a 4-1 victory especially after all the goal scoring opportunities we created I did find it strange after NG's screamer Saturday that he's shoot when given the chance but he seemed somewhat reluctant to do so as were a few last night. But another three points in the bag now on to Plymouth hopefully we can continue this rich vein of form to stretch that lead at the top .🐦BLUEBIRDS

Everything pointing to promotion at the moment. That's a good point and I also believe we'll be less fatigued than other teams at the business end of the season because of the way BBM rotates the first XI

Slightly disappointed? Speak for yourself butt, I was more than happy with last night.

I also find this obsession with wanting us to constantly shoot on sight into a crowded penalty box a bit baffling. Is it not obvious how we’re trying to play, trying to create realistic scoring opportunities? There’s obviously nothing wrong having a go when there’s a genuine opportunity but efforts from distance come off maybe one in ten or more times, more often than not the ball gets blocked or hits an opposition player and you’ve lost possession, or worse still they end up counter attacking.
