Christian Eriksen

Well I'm just saying that everyone is asking the same question, we all want to know if he's going to be alright or not and turning off the broadcast doesn't help with that, people are still going to want to know.
I agree, I was just surprised that they kept going as long as they did. I hope to God he is okay but it did not look good, especially as they were shielding him on the trolley at the end. :nope:

Literally the only good situation here is if it takes days for us to know.

That way there's still hope

Cmon Christian pull through you can do it.

Wasn't Muamba being worked on by medical staff for about half an hour and he turned out to be ok in the end? Can only hope the same for Eriksen

Difficult call to make. Obviously everyone hoped he’d quickly recover but the longer they were treating him the less likely that was going to happen. Soon as the match was abandoned/suspended then they cut to the studio, otherwise that would’ve been voyeuristic.
Very very sad obviously

Was technically dead for 78 minutes.
Fittest people in the world footballers, absolutely horrible.

I think the BBC got it pretty much right, it's not like there's a guide book on it.

Of course twitter is packed full of the holier-than-thou crowd falling over themselves to show how they're a better person than everyone else.

Watching him collapse and and he seemed to have his eyes open and lifeless. How deeply distressing sight.

They showed him on his side in the recovery position and his eyes and mouth were wide open

"Aaarrgghh the BBC should've cut the broadcast!"

"How do you know they didn't?"

"Because I was gawping at the screen the whole fucking time"

Yes, and when they went to the studio, the presenters were clearly very upset and didn’t know what to say, and who would? Nobody really prepares for this situation do they?

His heart obviously stopped. They were using a defibrillator. Hopefully they got him back. They’ll be expert at doing it so there’s always hope.

Just been sent this. Hoping and praying that it is from today.

As awful as the whole incident is, it couldn’t have happened in a better place given the medical expertise that would have been on standby.
