Speaking of which, we will have both Colwill's next season

Rubin Fortune Colwill
We will do well to.hang onto Colwill.
In the right team he could outstanding.
We normally bring him on when we are chasing the game and hoping he will create something.
Next season is massive for him.
I really think he has the skill to be a big success.

Bri has been an admirer for a long time.

You'd hope he'll develop quicker and actually show consistency for more than a few games at a lower level

Yes I get frustrated at his slow progress but he obviously is very skilful and has talent some players will never have.
That goal against Bristol City is one of the best things I've seen in over thirty years of regularly watching the City.

Definitely has talent but at risk of wasting his doubtless potential

I know what you mean. You feel shaking him.
I am hoping Bellamy can bring the best out of him

He’s a shit Lee Tomlin. If he was born in Norwich he’d be getting the Meite treatment.

He has a flash of brilliance every now and then but it’s not often enough. The way people talk him up he should be the best player in league one but he won’t be because he’ll be sat on his ass after falling over or slowly walking around the pitch after giving the ball away.

Colwill has been one of the most frustrating players.I've watched since I took to this arduous journey of being a bluebird.Simply because there is a talented individual there .Sometimes he's unplayable for the opposition ,but those games are few and far between .Hasn't help he's been playing in a struggling team and there has been a long line of managers who have been unable to find a regular position for him this coupled with his inconsistency is what we see week in week out.Personally I think he's suited to a free roll within the team unfortunately because of our continual struggles we can't afford such a luxury.

We’ve been saying this for about 3 or 4 seasons now.

Anyone remember Jason Fowler? Scored one of the best goals I’ve seen at NP, outrageously talented. Could never put two performances in a row together. Colwill the same, will never do anything significant career wise as he’s just not got it up top. Three years we’ve been waiting for it to click and it hasn’t and it won’t. Talent is only one predictor of success.

Like your final sentence. Remember Jason Fowler - made the game look easy one minute and bloody hard the next

He’s such an unusual one though isn’t he. There is clearly some kind of ability there but no one so far has been able to get the best out of him. Does he need to be played in the right position, alongside the right players, at the right level or all the above?
We can only hope, if he’s given the chance, that he tears it up in League 1 I suppose.

Josh Murphy. Some games in the prem season he looked unplayable (hmm, maybe just one). Then ended up flitting between a couple of clubs (at least he did t get related this season :hehe:). Just didn’t fulfil his potential. Whilst his twin brother did.

He's still related to Jacob I believe.

Basically had impressive raw pace and some talent but weak physically and mentally whereas his twin doesn't have that problem

He's had a couple of "next season will be massive" moments. His bleached hair at the start of this season made me think he felt that he was going to be our star player. But of course he wasn't. He's running out of chances to come good and in some eyes he already has. I think there's a real player in there somewhere. If he doesn't come good in league 1 he never will. If he stays this really is his last chance.
