My old staffy used to bark every time the doorbell rang. If he was out in the garden and wouldn’t come in we used to ring the doorbell. He’d come sprinting into the house and then bark like an idiot by the open front door.
Almost as dull as Melvin he was.
Put down the bells?
Claim the remote?
Ask for a raise of his pocket money?
