Have to say never as we haven't been back to the UK for more than 7 years and when we were travelling back for medical stuff, the trips never coincided with a home game. That said I haven't missed the club's official live stream (home or away) for years.

Retirement is great with the flexibility it brings, so I tend to plan things around the City games.

For example, we're away with the motorhome later today for a couple of nights, but we'll be parked up at our second stop next to a lake well before kick off tomorrow. Got good wi-fi in the van (and sat TV) so looking forward to Sunderland in a relaxed frame of mind, at least until kick off.

Motorhome you say? :sherlock:

Look out @TDA , lefty OAP hating Tony will be petitioning the government to tax motor homes :hehe:
They’re already taxed you dripping quim.

Its a vehicle. Just like the one you have, which you pay tax on.

Mince.

I think the only place that would tempt me out of the Canton is if they opened the upper tier of the Ninian again. The view up there was good enough to offset the lack of atmosphere. The season I had up there is the only time as a City fan I've felt I had a proper tactical appreciation of our games. Where I am now you get the emotion but it's not easy to see big picture stuff or how high up the pitch people are playing or where they are on relation to each other etc

I've never liked it behind the goals, but my first matches were on the Bob Bank so maybe that is why.

Having moved seats this season after enduring last season sitting in Front of a football expert who's running commentary on the game and the floors in every player made it impossible to stay there .Better this season still in the Ninian Stand but a more palatable group around me .:bluebird:

This season I have missed 2 games both to a PA not avaliable and 1 maybe 2 when i was in oz

The people around you make a massive difference. Where we sit now is decent as the people in front of us are great, the ones behind us no bother but we've had issues recently with loads of kids gathering by us. Not bad kids but a pain in the arse because of their age. Hoping they won't be there next season.

When I used to sit in the Bob Bank a right prick sat behind me. Thick as fuck and relentlessly negative. Funny thing was I played football against him once and he was absolute dogshit - didn't stop him lambasting pros all game though

I sat in the Ninian Stand for a while. Moved to the Canton Stand a few times when we rained and decided it was better. More atmosphere and 'footbally'

Best seats I've had in the CCS was when I had season ticket in our last visit to the Premier league in the much cursed red seats lots of room and easy to get a pint .

Oh this, ab so fucking lutely.

Bloke behind me is an annoying cunt in a good day, last Tuesday the fucker didn’t shut up the whole game.

“Don’t foul him”
“Turn”
“Man on”

Sounds like the one who was sat behind me last season in the ninian stand :hehe:.

Haven't missed a home game since December 2017, average at least 10 aways a season. Tomorrow will end my 6 straight games run.

Used to go to every game but then my priorities changed and got bored of my life revolving around what weekend we were playing home and what time kick offs happened.

Luckily I can watch on my phone I used to have a fire stick but I left it around some hot GILF’s house one day.

Plus you can have a conversation with some of the greatest minds in football on this messageboard at the same time.
