Hard, but great topic! Up until 2017, hadn't missed probably 10 games at home, in 15+ years, then my partner in crime, my father, passed away with dementia, so suddenly there was this empty seat at games, and the trip home changed too, because even though I had a carer at the time of his passing, it was always with him for games, as some carers are simply there for a wage, and not many support cardiff city!!
Since my rta, and suffering quite serious life altering damage, things did change dramatically re attendance was no longer a given, so in 2013, I stopped buying a season ticket, as dad had early onset then, so dynamics changed quite dramatically & suddenly, life took over, during recovery, and dad's diagnosis, and football took a back seat as such, and even though dad & myself still attended, his mental state was slowly deteriorating, so more games slipped by the way side, I now attend as often as possible, with my great niece, who is nearly 11, and has the bug already, another great niece who is 17 this year, plays for the ladies u 19's so th city connection has still got a hold in this family!! I have two brothers, one hates sport( unless it's fishing!) The other tosser, " supports" Liverpool
