PETERBOROUGH 1-1 CARDIFF: POST MATCH FANS REACTIONS

He came in, a lot of hype and going forward he delivered.

People then tagged him as the next great right back.

Capped for Wales.

And brutally exposed by wingers getting at him.

He needs games for experience, we know he can be good going forward, play him as a winger. Don't expose him defensively right now, let him learn that defensive side.

Right now, put him in at RB and it's a big glaring "please run at me" target.
If we don't get a good offer for him, I'd send him out on loan next season.

I don't think the squad is that bad tbh. If only we could become consistently more clinical up front we'd have enough to worry quite a few in the championship. All these missed opportunities are having a real adverse effect on belief.

We only have Salech in double figures, our wingers have got only a handful of goals each. It is an issue that needs addressing next season regardless of what division we are in.

I agree but belief can make or break a team and once lost it's harder to get back
Belief in ability to win games or belief in the system?

The former just needs that win to kickstart things, if players have lost confidence in the system, that's a different kettle of fish.

Who'd a thought I'd take us playing shit and getting a win ,never thought there would be so much frustration when we are playing decent football .Started well great save from their keeper then another game of ball domination but lacking that killer instinct but again looked vulnerable against the long ball .Fortunate when Lisbie was through ,but still had the chances to put the game to bed .Always back our players so it's hard to see young Kpakio struggling so badly he must know there is a sense of anxiety from the fans when he's in possession it's nice that BBM still has faith in him unfortunately fans arn't of the same mind set.On to the Trotter's only three points will do so we can finally see the finishing line.🐦BLUEBIRDS🐦

Really? I didn’t think you were one of THOSE fans. I’d expect this hyperbole from Norris, not you.

Please do better.
I think we're now at the point where it's a definite possibility.

8 points to third, on a horrific run of form, and playing them next.

If we do go autos I would expect it to be very tight regardless. We are in utterly abysmal form.

I think we're a ridiculously mentally fragile team, and have been for a long long time going back to the early 2000s and beyond (excepting the Warnock years)

Tend to agree, think that Plymouth result really came as a shock and we just haven't managed to recover, even if there is still some nice build up play being witnessed.

That doesn't matter. We had very few players with more than nine goals in the past 15 seasons. Goals are better spread around the side.

It's all too easy to forget we were scoring quite a few goals not long ago. I love Salech but he isn't what I'd class as a prolific goal scorer, what he does do is occupy defenders and allows goals from elsewhere in the team

I think this season has shown we need some serious recruitment in the summer and none of this shit we saw this summer and January.

We definitely need another LB/RB/GK/DM/RW/ST, either as starters or as high quality bench players.

This small scale recruitment and reliance of youth has exposed us massively.

You're right, but if it is going to be enough to get us promted then I'd say, well done!

Rather that than the BIrmingham model.

I think it's more important to actually find our best team, which isn't bad imo. From there a few positions strengthened could make all the difference.

That said I'm sure IF we get promoted a few may go but I'd expect replacements to be quality rather than quantity, that seems the BBM way and it's his decisions he'll live or die by.

It’s not a Kpakio problem. Look at all the shots and crosses. Just wayward shite. No composure to find a team mate, passing behind them, or hitting the first defender. Shots off target, take a touch before shooting and get blocked. Look at the goals we concede - hit us on the break, one touch accuracy. One or two players but they hit them. Low block or no, too often passes in the final third go astray. It’s shite.

Tanner - shite. Ashford - thinks it’s FIFA and dribbles nowhere. Rubin - shite. Kellyman - shite ever since he missed that sitter. We don’t concede many but don’t score nearly enough.

Hopefully the former rather than the latter

Agreed, if it's the latter that never bodes well.

Think everyone agreed we were missing Salech and then when he comes on (granted not fully match fit) yet again he gets no service.

Our quality has got us the points on the board, which is always key at this stage of the season, I'm not convinced BBM knows what to change to turn things around - bad runs are always the acid test of a manager.

He said in an earlier interview (paraphrasing) he wasn't wedded to a style but to me, he's shown little sign of changing other then when Salech's injury forced his hand.
