In all seriousness, I didn't start the forum in order to get anything from the club but for the last 8 years the only time we've been mentioned is indirectly and it's always either the manager or senior staff slagging us off. I've never once had any contact from the club and any mention has been publicly negative towards us.

You might say they're talking about AAMB but the mentions are always about "the messageboards" or "forums" plural. This forum gets more engagement than any of them and that's not even mentioning our Facebook group of 17,000 members which takes more moderating than this one.

And now apparently the trust, who I've always tried to be positive and supportive of, is outwardly telling the chairman of the club to not look at the forums because we "do not reflect the majority of the wider fan base", as if everyone on here has the same opinion on everything.

The community is made up of fans of Cardiff City and I'm getting pretty fucking tired of us being looked down upon as some sort of nuisance that just needs to be ignored.

Presumably it’s a mistake and he’s not stood down as Chairman? It was reported that he was suffering with his health a while back.

Potentially controversial question, but have you ever considered rebranding this place to avoid confusion with the almost identically named Cardiff City Forum that likes trying to undermine the club? Especially considering the traffic you're generating on Facebook, which will be much more visible than what goes on here.

That site used to be annisabraham.com.

Can't remember the timeframes, did they rename before this was created? I'd imagine this was first, as .com suffixes get more traffic, but they aren't exactly known for their IQ.

Hi Guvnor. I was going to put these up. But you have done so already. Those present are listed and yes i am one of them and was involved with the draft of the letter before going around board members. Mark Denham club media was also there.. There were two very young fans there which i never had the names of. Looked very much U18.

What I’m surprised about is nobody seems to be making plans for us losing our Manager because believe me BBM will be in demand over the summer
Lots of bigger clubs than us will be looking to poach him during the off season. Never mind keeping certain players keeping our Manager is going to be our main problem
If he’s not backed he may well walk and that is going to be a huge setback for us!!

Apparently BBM is well bought into it all and was instrumental in getting players who initially wanted to leave, to stay and be a part of what he is doing, The meeting went on for 40 plus minutes. These are notes not a verbatim report. I get that some will say the Mehmet Dalman (MD) and Ken Choo (KC) are feeding us a load of shite; who knows? But the on field turnaround has been remarkable and certainly points to the fact that something is moving in the right direction. It was mentioned that whatever strategy/process got us to where we are now, should be learned and used again if necessary. And yes the possibility of BBM being coaxed away was discussed as you can well imagine. .
By the way, we are the only group willing to post summaries up from these meetings. They are not an analysis of club situation, but brief notes on what was said.
From a personal point of view, it was nice to go along, but strained my social schedule somewhat . I paid for 10 of my Funbus away day crew to go to the Players awards, so had to drag my Tux and gear down to the Trust office early and get to this meeting. A group huddle afterwards, straight to my seat, celebrations afterwards, then change into gear for 1900 start at awards. Attached is a a few pics of my Bus crowd at the awards night
