I've got the CCMB to thank for a hell of a lot over the years (too much to mention in fact since around 1999) so I'll probably never stop reading and posting there, but it definitely lost something with the recent clampdown on humour, not to mention those godforsaken and intrusive adverts.

A lot of the great posters left, and of those that remain, some only post sporadically.

I think there's plenty of room for all of the three main MBs to service their own various 'clientele', so onwards and upwards for them all IMHO.

Not having personally met you I could give no opinion, only to testify if some other had done so. We were quite chummy on CCMB many years ago and the experience suggested you were of a higher class than your detractors

Where indeed? I've been treading the path to the point of many coincidences and subsequent miracles. Non attachment and hence my absence from CCFC allowed many things to happen. I hope you have maintained your interest.

Mike's 1st site was a mailing list and yes.

I first joined just after it turned into a message board of sorts with huge tree view threads and IIRC you had to click each reply in turn to read it! This was around 2001 on a 56k modem.

Two of the main posters from back then we're VICTOR!! and his catchphrase 'Gink!' and Tosh and little Natalie.

I was Roath Bloobird back then, as that's erm, where I lived at the time...
