Tan wouldn’t even have a clue who he is.

Karl Robinson is the first manager to be actually linked with becoming the next Cardiff City manager

Karl Robinson wouldn't be my first choice, but he has always somehow been linked with us over the years.

I'm just glad it's not Purse, that's how bad its got.

This is where the dilemma comes in.

Do you appoint someone who has a record of promotion from that division (a Neil Warnock of L1)? If successful, what should happen the following season? Does sentiment come into it, even though that manager has failed at the higher level previously?

I see that Daniel Farke has got the nod at Leeds for next season. Despite his now three Championship promotions, he absolutely bombed twice with Norwich in the PL.

Horses for courses. Personally, I was in favour of replacing Malky after our first promotion to the PL. Warnock almost kept us up, but for some bad luck, but he has never succeeded above the Championship either.

I'd favour Nathan Jones over Karl Robinson as being able to provide continuity after promotion.

The Premier League is very difficult to stay in for first year clubs and some clubs are yo yo clubs. WBA springs to mind. It's unfair on the manager to judge him on staying up really. They are at a disadvantage from the start against established clubs. Some make it but most don't.

Getting harder all the time. Financial leap is massive and the better players will stay clear of promoted teams unless they pay over the odds which is a risk. It may partially be a middle aged thing but everyone I know seems to agree that the Prem is going to shit and becoming very boring and predictable. Even watching some of the supposed big teams struggle isn't as funny as it should be

@Nugent what you saying on this bruv?

Gary O'Neil. Reckon he would fancy a legacy?
