We are about 2.5 weeks in after adding the yeast. All three bottles bubbled away nicely for about a week and a half and then have more or less stopped, which means that the first bit of fermentation has happened. That's all going according to plan as far as I can tell.
Next I need to syphon the liquid out into a clean demijohn, leaving the sediment and foamy stuff behind. That's a job for the weekend.
Still looking pretty cloudy, especially the left-hand one, which was the last to finish bubbling. Once it's all been transferred, it'll start clearing a bit.
I haven't been told off yet for being in the way of where all the laundry happens but give it time.

Next job in my Richard Briers impression will be to get the chillis in.
More of them have ripened now and the forecast is OK for the time being so I could probably leave them out for another week or so. My only worry is that a rogue frost would absolutely bugger all of them so I may be better off just getting them in. From the front of the pic to the dog is all chillis and some of them are massive.

Best of luck with the cannabis mate. Moonshine and Chillis are just a gateway. Before you know where you are you're selling crystal meth.
All I'm saying here is be careful.
