Slade had the nucleus of a championship winning side, much better than the teams that those names had, even after all the cutbacks.
Slade was proper on the ropes until Trollope came in as coach and ditched Scott Young, he was an absolute chancer.
The way the team played under him was inexcusable, he was a nodding dog to Tan and Tan wanted someone who was cheap, grateful for the job and Slade fit the bill.
Tan then gives the job to Trollope, cheap internal appointment and that took weeks to be confirmed also.
