Aberdeen, Cardiff City and Hull City are interested in Maccabi Tel-Aviv centre-back Tyrese Asante.
It’s understood the Dons held talks to sign the 22-year-old last summer while he was at Den Haag, but nothing developed further.
Asante was close to joining Galatasary, before they were gazumped by Maccabi.
The Netherlands U21 international has two-and-a-half years left on his contract, with the club having an option to extend by a further year.

We have to admit that while we should be bringing on our own which we seem to be doing not all of them are up to standard. It would be absolutely crazy not to pick up a talented youngster who is available and ready to go particularly when we are desperate for points.
