Seems odd but perphaps there are other reasons.
He is a good footballer and has experience.We are going to need experience especially if we go through a rough patch.
I got no doubt that BBM has a plan if he is moved on otherwise he wouldn't let him go.
Wrexham are flush with money perphaps a deal would be good but we would need a proven replacement and time is not on our side.

I'd like us to get another centre half as well as Osho (if he's really a thing) just to free Chambers up for a midfield role.

Lots of decisions should have been made sooner at this club, however they are not. I'm not disagreeing with you he's a handy player to have but he certainly is NOT a defender. And certainly not worth £32k a week as long as he has a hole in his arse.
